Set in a tranquil corner of the Blackdown Hills in Somerset, it provides both seclusion and easy access to nearby towns and attractions.
The house accommodates 14 guests across seven bedrooms, with the option to increase to 18 guests with four additional guest beds which are available by arrangement (supplement applies – see Extras). A standout feature is the exclusive spa complex, complete with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Alongside this, a combined games and cinema room ensures entertainment is always on hand, whatever the season brings.
Inside, the atmosphere is light-hearted and characterful. Generous rooms are filled with imaginative design details, including repurposed fittings from the building’s former life as a dairy, alongside original artwork that adds personality throughout. Sustainability has been thoughtfully considered and accessibility has built into the design.
For days out, the market town of Ilminster, Chard and the county town of Taunton are both a short drive away, offering shops, eateries, and cultural attractions. The surrounding area is dotted with excellent country pubs and family-friendly destinations, while the Jurassic Coast is around 45 minutes away for classic seaside adventures.
Reaching Cricklehaze is straightforward, located just a few miles from the A30 and within comfortable distance of the A303 and M5. Leaving, however, may prove far more difficult.
Perfect for multi-generational families, families with younger children, mature groups of friends and refined hen weekends.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This property and the owners are incredible. The property had everything you need and more. We didn't go out the whole weekend as we just didn't need to. Kate helped me change a car tyre which was taking time out of her Sunday but she was so lovely we couldn't thank her enough. Anything we needed they were keen to help where they could. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone as its just simply beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. Words really aren't enough to express how we felt as a group about the property and the owners honestly just wonderful"
